So sorry for not posting for days. Between Rosh Hashanah all weekend and my birthday yesterday I haven't had time to post. That all changes tonight, I promise. I'll be back with a fabulous vengeance and some really cute dresses.
In September 2007 I decided to work my way through my closet and wear a different dress every day for the month of September. The idea behind it was twofold. I wanted to make sure I wore what was in my closet and also to showcase all the different sizes and stores I get my clothes in. It was quite popular and so I did it again in 2008 and again in 2009 which is when I started this blog. Which means yes, I own (or owned at some point) 90 dresses/tunics/long shirts. I've gotten generous with what constitutes a dress over time.
When my September 2009 month of dresses was completed I decided to keep on blogging. Mostly still dresses but there's a lot of leggings,a fair amount of skirts and even sometimes I'm photographed in pants - eek.
I firmly believe that when you're fat dressing well is a political statement. It says here I am, I'm not embarrassed of my body, I'm not ashamed and I'm going to show it off. Self confidence is the best accessory.
I love hearing from readers - photos of things you think I might want to buy, questions, suggestions, whatever. You can reach me at 30dressesin30days at gmail.com. It may take me a little bit of time to get back to you, but I promise I will.
